With 2025 in full swing and the plethora of new year’s resolutions around exercising (or simply moving your body) more, I thought it would be the perfect time to share a few of my favorites yoga channels and videos.
Whenever I’m looking to get back into movement and exercise, yoga is the very first thing I turn to. Probably because there are so many variations and ways to practice. I love how it can be relaxing and restful one day or challenging and holy buckets of sweat inducing the next.
Having said that, I find going to yoga class and being in a studio with an instructor to be a little intimidating. I’ve done it and definitely get a lot out of the classes when I go, BUT I much prefer a home practice. I’m sure that has a lot to do with having littles at home and never really knowing when I can fit a session in or for how long. With an at-home practice, that flexibility is all mine. I can do it whenever I want and for how ever long I want.
Last year (or was it the year before?), my goal was to move my body more and I wanted to split my time between walking, yoga, and weights. A few years before that, I did a round of #the100dayproject focused on 100 days of yoga. I learned a lot about myself that year.
As a result, I’ve come across a lot of great (and a few not-so-great) yoga channels on YouTube. I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorites, in case you’re feeling like diving more into yoga in the new year.
Yoga With Adriene
Adriene Mishler of Yoga With Adriene is my OG and all time favorite yoga instructor. Hers were some of the very first yoga videos I did and religiously followed along with her 30 days of yoga challenge at the beginning of each year. (She’s moved away from doing those in 2025, but has a great archive of past challenges to work through if you’re interested.
Some of my favorite YWA videos:
- Yoga for hip and lower back release
- Love Yoga Flow
- Yoga for when you’re angry
- Yoga for neck and shoulder relief
- Yoga Wash – Detox flow
Yoga TX
Another favorite yoga channel of mine is Yoga TX. There are several teachers that create videos for the channel and my favorite is Cole Chance. I love the way she teaches and the flow of her classes. They are equal parts challenging and restorative.
